The first story in the Charlie Armadillo adventures takes Charlie to Channel Islands National Park, where he explores Anacapa Island - the closest, and smallest, Channel Island in the park. Charlie's goal is often to discover a new creature - but on Anacapa, he learns some island critters exist ONLY on that island. Which critter will Charlie discover?

Where is Channel Islands National Park?
Channel Islands is located off the coast of Southern California. The park is composed of 5 islands -- Anacapa (the setting for Charlie Armadillo's adventure), Santa Cruz, San Miguel, Santa Rosa, and Santa Barbara. It became a National Park and Marine Sanctuary in 1980.

Arch Rock is an iconic site visitors will see en route to Anacapa, and often, other islands visitors may be travelling to (Santa Cruz being a highly sought after destination to see foxes which are unique to the Channel Islands).
Cathedral Cove is a memorable overlook not to be missed during your hike around Anacapa.
Inspiration point is one of the most memorable and photographed views on Anacapa.
The Anacapa Lighthouse marks the highest point of East Anacapa Island.
